Our first discovery will take us back in time to one of WW2’s most important D-Day sites: Utah Beach. As you explore the sandy shores, you will learn how German and American soldiers came face to face and see the battle scars that still pepper the landscape. After a guided tour of the area, you will visit the excellent Utah Beach Landing Museum, constructed around the remains of a German bunker. Here you will discover original warcraft, the Water Buffalo and Duck amphibious vehicles, and one of the last remaining B-26 bombers.
