Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company policy refers to our responsibility toward our environment. Our company’s existence is not lonely. It’s part of a bigger system of people, values, other organizations and nature. The social responsibility of a business is to give back to the world just as it gives to us.

This policy applies to our company and its subsidiaries. It may also refer to suppliers and partners.

We want to be a responsible business that meets the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Our company’s social responsibility falls under two categories: compliance and proactiveness. Compliance refers to our company’s commitment to legality and willingness to observe community values. Proactiveness is every initiative to promote human rights, help communities and protect our natural environment.

Legality

Our company will:

We’ll always conduct business with integrity and respect to human rights. We’ll promote:

Protecting the environment

Our company recognizes the need to protect the natural environment. Keeping our environment clean and unpolluted is a benefit to all. We’ll always follow best practices when disposing garbage and using chemical substances. Stewardship will also play an important role.

Donations and aid

Our company may preserve a budget to make monetary donations. These donations will aim to:

  • Advance the arts, education and community events.
  • Improve the environment.
  • Alleviate those in need.
  • Provide greater working opportunities to the community.
Volunteering

Our company will encourage its employees to volunteer. They can volunteer through programs organized internally or externally. Our company may sponsor volunteering events from other organizations.

Preserving the environment

Apart from legal obligations, our company will proactively protect the environment. Examples of relevant activities include:

  • Recycling.
  • Conserving energy.
  • Organizing reforestation excursions.
  • Using environmentally-friendly technologies.
  • Insuring we use fuel efficient vehicles or electric vehicle during our excursion.
  • Promote the use of public transportation.
  • Promote riding the bike to the office or to our tours.
  • Work closely with our accommodation providers to reduce the use of plastic in the rooms of our guests and enhance the electronic usage.
  • Move forward to use electronic materials for brochures, presentations, tickets ect.. and eliminating the use of paper at Venez Discover.
  • Use renewable/electrical efficient product and items, such as, light bulbs, computers, printers and more.
Supporting the community

Our company may initiate and support community investment and educational programs. For example, it may begin partnerships with vendors for constructing public buildings. It can provide support to nonprofit organizations or movements to promote cultural and economic development of global and local communities. Examples include:

  • Hire students from local universities.
  • Promote less economically development region.
  • Support the local tourism associations and enhance the tourism of the designated country.
  • Organising tours to local farms, institutions, breweries, distilleries ect.. promoting the local craftsmanship.
Learning

We will actively invest in R&D. We will be open to suggestions and listen carefully to ideas. Our company will try to continuously improve the way it operates.

Our company is committed to the United Nations Global Compact. We’ll readily act to promote our identity as a socially aware and responsible business. Management must communicate this policy on all levels. Managers are also responsible for resolving any CSR issues.

Distance Keeping

Distancing will always be kept between other groups during each tour limiting the risks as much as possible.

Temperature Checks

We ensure to check the temperature of our guides and drivers regularly before and after each tour.

Washing Hands

When possible hands should be washed in order to prevent any spread. Our guides and drivers ensure whenever it is possible to wash their hands regularly.

Minimum Risk

We ensure every place (Museums, Castles or Similar) visited is safe with minimal risk to our clients, guides and drivers. If needed, we will amend the place of visit without jeopardizing your experience or cancel the tour altogether.

Hand Sanitization

Our guides and drivers will regularly sanitize their hands and will always have a bottle of hand sanitizer on them. Upon request, we will offer a small bottle of hand sanitizer to all our clients at no extra charge.

Wearing Mask

Wearing the mask is mandatory at all times by our clients, guides and drivers during each tour. After 2 hours, all masks need to be changed. Our guides and drivers will always have extra masks at your disposal.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

RATES AND PRICES

All rates and prices quoted are subject to availability. Prices will not change even if the full payment is not received and voucher(s) are not issued. Prices that are quoted include all taxes and fees unless we advise otherwise.

Private Day Trips or Group Day Trips

  • At the time of booking no deposit amount will be processed
  • 30 days before the departure 50% of the total amount is to be settled
  • 7 days before the departure the remaining 50% is to be settled
  • Cancellation and refunds are based on the Cancellation Policy below

YOUR VOUCHER AND DEPARTURE POINT

Private Day Trips

Please present your voucher 15-20 minutes before departure to the driver or guide at the departure point of your tour. The location of the departure point can be found in the description of the tour and is stated on your booking confirmation. We cannot be held responsible for clients showing up late for their tours.

Transportation Services

Please present your voucher 15-20 minutes before departure to the driver at the departure point. The location of the departure point has to be advised at the time of booking. We cannot be held responsible for clients showing up late for their transfer.

Availability

The travel products and services sold through this site are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice. Private Day Trip, Group Day Trip, or Packed Multi-Day Trip is confirmed once the booking is received.

We request that you carefully check the dates on your voucher and to contact us immediately if these are not correct.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Private Day Trips or Group Day Trips

  • Cancellation more than 7 days in advance is fully refundable
  • Cancellation up to 48 hours prior to departure date: 50% of the total amount plus administration fees that might be imposed (Except if unforeseen circumstances arise such not being able to travel due to the coronavirus)
  • Cancellation up to and less than 24 hours prior to the departure date and time or no-show: 100% of the total amount (Except if unforeseen circumstances arise such as not being able to travel due to the coronavirus)

Transportation Services
